3 Jews Are Named to Cabinet of Premier Schreyer’s Newly-elected Manitoba Government

Three Jews have been named to the Cabinet of Premier Ed Schreyer of the newly elected Government of Manitoba Province. Saul D. Cherniak, a Winnipeg lawyer and former president of the Canadian Jewish Congress in the Western provinces, was named finance minister. Sidney Green and Saul Miller have been named minister of health and social service and minister of youth and education respectively.
