In a Passover season effort to solicit world support for Soviet Jewry, Baltimore area teen-agers will deliver “Freedom Packages” to all Embassies in Washington, D.C., it was announced by the Baltimore Jewish Community Center which organized the project. The Center will package wine, matzot, a Haggadah and letters expressing concern over the treatment of Jews in the Soviet Union and the denial by Soviet authorities of their emigration rights. The youngsters will deliver the packages on April 13. But first, members of the Passover Youth Mobilization for Soviet Jewry will notify each embassy of the proposed visit and express hope that the packages will be accepted. The Soviet Embassy is on the delivery list.
