The President of the General Assembly. Adam Malik of Indonesia, received yesterday from Israeli Ambassador Yosef Tekoah a number of petitions from Soviet Jews addressed to Israeli Premier Golda Meir and Tekoah. The petitions read: “There is nobody to protect us. Our fate and our desires are a matter of indifference to the Soviet government, to which we had repeatedly appealed. Therefore, we now appeal to you: Raise your voice in our defense and in the defense of all those Jews who want to go to the State of Israel.”
