Nrp Hit Again by Arson

Police are investigating the latest in a recent series of arson attempts against the headquarters of the National Religious Party here and various other NRP property in the Tel Aviv area. A fire broke out this morning near tanks of bottled gas in the NRP headquarters cafeteria. It was put out without causing damage.

Several pupils of the Monte Sinai Public School in Mexico City, owned by the Monte Sinai Jewish community, were hurt by youthful vandals belonging to a gang that has been harassing and terrorizing school children here. The building is situated near the Jewish Sports Centre. Four pupils, all boys, were hospitalized for slight injuries. The incident is believed not to have been anti-Semitic in nature.

A leading expert on Soviet affairs said yesterday he was certain President Nixon will discuss the issue of Soviet Jewry in his summit meeting. Prof. Zbigniew Brzezinski, director of the Research Institute on Communist Affairs at Columbia University, told the JTA in Washington he believed Nixon would bring up the Soviet Jewry problem in terms of its being an impediment to improved US-USSR relations.
