More than 400 delegates are attending the joint conference of the World Zionist Organization and the World Jewish Congress which opened last night and ends Thursday. The last day of the conference will coincide with the 55th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. Among the delegates are some 100 representatives of Jewish youth organizations from 12 Latin American countries.

Among the special guests invited to attend the conference is the former president of the Latin American Jewish Congress and honorary vice-president of the WJ Congress, Dr. Moises Goldman, and the famous Soviet Jewish poet Joseph Kerler. The conference will also pay homage to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, marking the 20th anniversary of his death.
