Israeli Air Force planes staged a brief attack Thursday on terrorist bases north of Tyre in southern Lebanon, officials announced. They said all planes returned safely to base. There was speculation that the raid was designed to prevent threatened Arab terrorist attacks on Israel with the goal of wrecking current talks for a second Sinai interim accord.
