Ambassador Dov Schmorak, permanent member of Israel’s UN Mission, has returned from a visit to several South American countries where he discussed the Middle East situation with the Foreign Ministers of Guatemala, Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. In his talks, Schmorak presented Israel’s expectations from these countries in the upcoming General Assembly and other international forums. The issues of the Middle East and the “Palestinian Question” are high on the agenda of the Assembly.
