About 400 Orthodox rabbis and religious laymen from the U.S. and Canada will spend the Passover week in the resort town of Acapulco, it was announced by Rabbi Abraham Hershberg. President of the Latin American Board of Rabbis. They have been invited by former President Miguel Aleman, currently president of the Mexican Tourist Council, as part of the government’s policy to encourage tourism. Hershberg said the Mexican government has granted the rabbis permission to bring Passover foods into the country duty-free.
