Some 2000 people jammed the Hebraica Theater commemorating the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, under the slogans “Never Again Nazism” and “Solidarity with Israel and Zionism.” Israel Ambassador Ram Nirgad declared that “Jewish blood will not be spilled with impunity any more.” DAIA president Nehamias Resnizky denounced the resurgence of neo-Nazism, pointing out that many governments which fight terrorism in their own countries condone the PLO. A survivor of Auschwitz described the sufferings of the camp inmates and a representative Jewish youth called for permanent solidarity with Soviet Jewry. A special film about the Holocaust was shown.
