A technology trade mission to Israel, Tunisia and Morocco is slated to take place in September for U.S. companies.

The Middle East/North Africa mission will be sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce to demonstrate the Clinton administration’s support of the Middle East peace process and efforts to promote exports to the region.

Participants in the mission will be business executives from a limited number of companies. They will meet individually with companies in each country to discuss possible partnerships and other joint ventures.

The delegates will also have the opportunity to brief government officials from each country on their products and services. They will meet with the ministers of environment, industry, trade, commerce, telecommunications and finance.

Additional information about the trade mission can be obtained from David Guglielmi at the U.S. Department of Commerce, (202) 482-0879. The application deadline for the mission is Aug. 8.
