Iran’s president sent a letter to President Bush asking him to seek solutions to the current stalemate over Iran’s nuclear program. The letter from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad came as six foreign ministers planned to meet Monday in New York to discuss a possible U.N. Security Council resolution on Iran. The United States, France, Britain, Germany, China and Russia are participating in the meeting. Iran insists its nuclear program is peaceful, but most of the international community believes Iran is building nuclear weapons.
