An Egyptian policeman faces disciplinary action for refusing to guard the Israeli Embassy in Cairo. Egyptian police said Wednesday that the officer had gone on a hunger strike rather than follow orders to protect the Israeli mission, which is regularly the site of anti-Zionist protests. He has been hospitalized and could face sanctions when he returns to work, police said.
