Polish public radio began broadcasting a daily program in Hebrew. Kol Polin, or Voice of Poland, which launched Monday, is being funded by the Polish Foreign Ministry. The show is directed at Israelis, many of whom have Polish roots. The program is meant to “let Israelis know that there is a living, breathing
Jewish community here,” Hebrew program head Michael Hermon told The Associated Press. “It’s not only museums and
concentration camps.”
