France arrests 5 in cemetery desecration

French police arrested five people suspected of desecrating
180 graves at a cemetery in northern France. Police investigators said a quarter of the graves desecrated in Havre were
Jewish. The five were questioned Sunday and will be charged later this week, officials said.

Early in April, 53 Jewish graves were desecrated and broken at the Lille Jewish cemetery. A
30-year-old man was arrested and admitted
to the act, but his reasons remain unclear.
