Chaplain’s Web site seen as anti-Semitic

A religious freedom advocate is threatening a lawsuit over anti-Semitic accusations found on a U.S. Army chaplain’s Web site.Michael Weinstein, founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, said three of the Fort Leavenworth chaplain’s Bible lessons on his Web site pushed Christianity and accused Jews of terrorist acts, including the crucifixion of Jesus and persecution of early Christian leaders, Reuters reported.A spokeswoman for Fort Leavenworth, in Kansas, said the chaplain’s site has been removed and a statement will follow. Weinstein said the lawsuit was necessary because of broader concerns that the U.S. military does not fully support religious freedom.”It is all over the U.S. military,” Weinstein said. “We are going to have to do this because letter writing and phone calls aren’t enough.”
