Seven years ago, when then-First Lady Hillary Clinton was running for Senate, I used to hear from some right-wing Aipac types and Orthodox Jews who feared her. These days, I’m more likely to hear those sorts of questions about Barack Obama (and more likely to receive e-mails portraying him as an enemy of Israel).
But this week, as the Orthodox Union pointed out on its public policy blog, two leading neocon voices – Marty Peretz and the N.Y. Sun – have come out in defense of Obama.
