(JTA) — Twenty-eight rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza on Friday.
Three civilians sustained light shrapnel wounds from Palestinian-launched rockets that landed in Askelon, including one that directly hit a house, according to media reports. Five others reportedly were treated for shock.
Rockets also were fired at Sderot and Eshkol, with a building in the latter city sustaining significant damage.
