WASHINGTON (JTA) — President Obama reportedly will visit the site of the former Buchenwald concentration camp.
German government spokesman said Obama would visit the camp June 5 on the eve of ceremonies marking the 65th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, Ha’aretz reported Friday.
Obama’s great uncle was among U.S. troops who liberated the camp at the end of the war.
