The Palestine Telegraph (reliable, in my experience) is quoting the Egyptian new agency Maan (also reliable) as quoting to-the-left-of-Robespierre British MP George Galloway (as reliable as a rear-ended Pinto) as saying that Hugo Chavez is on his way to Gaza.
I’ve opted not to brief this as a news item, because of Galloway’s record — but then again, Chavez is something of a maverick. So who knows. Worth a blog item, at least.
Galloway also says he’s bringing a New York congressman to Gaza. That I’d like to see.
