WASHINGTON (JTA) — Peru is extraditing an ex-Israeli judge accused of accepting bribes.
Dan Cohen is facing charges of taking nearly $5 million in bribes in his capacity as a member of the board of directors of the Israel Electric Corp.
A Peruvian court approved Israel’s extradition request last Friday, according to Ha’aretz.
Cohen, a former district court judge, fled to Peru before his trial earlier this year.
