WASHINGTON (JTA) — Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is returning to Washington to coordinate ways to isolate Iran.
Barak, who will meet with officials at the Pentagon, is scheduled to arrive Monday. His stateside visits now average once a month.
Israel and the United States are closely coordinating on how to isolate Iran until it makes its nuclear program more transparent.
Barak will continue to New York on Thursday and a meeting with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
