NEW YORK (JTA) — The Jewish Defense Organization is vowing to stop a neo-Nazi rally planned for April in New Jersey.

The defense group, a splinter faction of the better-known Jewish Defense League, has promised to shut down a two-day conference, organized by the National Socialist Movement, The Times of Trenton reported. The conference is to include a rally at the State House in Trenton.

"We’re calling on angry Jews all over New Jersey to call every hotel up and down New Jersey and demand the hotel cancel on them," said Jeff Goldman of the JDO’s New Jersey chapter.

The JDO, according to the Anti-Defamation League, is a breakaway group of the Kahanist movement that is banned in Israel.
