When Gwyneth Paltrow appeared on the NBC program “Who Do You Think You Are?” she traced her genealogy on her father’s side all the way back to prominent Hasidic rabbis.
As a result of this discovery, she’s decided to raise her two children, Apple and Moses, in a Jewish lifestyle. “It was such a nice way to grow up,” she told ABC News of her upbringing with father and producer Bruce Paltrow.
Yet despite her desire to connect her kids to their tradition, she probably won’t be raising them with any religious fervor, having added, “Religion is the cause of all the problems in the world.”
Spoken like a true Jew. I’m sure Karl Marx would be very proud.
