Michael Kors, who is a also the a judge for the popular reality TV show Project Runway, is tying the knot with Lance Lepere, who has been his life partner for over 20 years.
After gay marriage was approved in New York five weeks ago, Kors and Lepere decided to get married, and they were spotted applying for marriage license at the New York City Hall on Thursday afternoon. Kors stated: “”Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together.”
Despite expectations, the two are planning to hold a private event to family and close friends only. No fabulous party? Sad face.
Well, I bet Kors’ Jewish mom will stop asking those “when will you finally get married???” questions.
