WASHINGTON (JTA) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address the Jewish federations’ general assembly this year.
Netanyahu’s visit to Denver in the second week of November to attend the annual event, which brings together North American professional and lay Jewish leaderships, will be his fourth to the United States this year.
The Jewish Federations of North America announced Netanyahu’s plans on Wednesday. It is not yet clear whether he will meet with U.S. government officials.
Netanyahu’s government and the Obama administration in recent weeks have smoothed over peace process differences with Israel’s expressed willingness to return to talks with the Palestinians under parameters set by Obama in May.
