NEW YORK (6NoBacon) — Maxim magazine had at least one surprise on its annual “Maxim Hot 100“: Male comedian Stephen Colbert pulled in at 69th thanks to a write-in campaign by his fans.

Along with Colbert Nation, Jews also had reason to kvell over the readers’ and editors’ picks of the most attractive women in the world. Two of the top three were Jewish: Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli at the top and actress Mila Kunis at No. 3. Some honorable mentions: Lea Michele (14), Scarlett Johansson (17) and Lois Griffin (85), the animated housewife character on the “Family Guy” — her mother was revealed on one episode to be Jewish.

Peres congratulates Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg married his longtime girlfriend Priscilla Chan over the weekend, and Zuck’s friend Shimon Peres used Facebook to congratulate the two in a wall post. The Israeli president told the newlyweds: “I wish you and your spouse Priscilla the same great happiness that connects love and friendship, that connects the intimoate world and the social world, just as you have made with your creation.”

Howard Stern is surprisingly nice

Howard Stern vowed he would be the judge whom everybody loves on “America’s Got Talent,” and apparently he’s been equal to the task. Despite fears that the shock jock would act in ways that might upset the FCC, Stern in the first two episodes has been one of the show’s nicer judges, dispensing compliments rather than controversy. He even hit the stage to hug a contestant.

Jonah Hill head going gaga for Dustin Hoffman’s daughter

Actor Jonah Hill has been friends of the Dustin Hoffman family for many years, and now Hill apparently is dating one of Hoffman’s daughters. Hill was spotted recently strolling around Manhattan with Ali Hoffman. Back in March, when Hill appeared on the Howard Stern show, he awkwardly tried to evade questions about his relationship with Ali. But he finally admitted, “She’s f—ing incredible, she’s the greatest person I know. I’m happy.”

A horror film with a dybbuk — and Matisyahu

The sick mind of Sam Raimi is at it again. Raimi, who directed the “Evil Dead” series, “Drag Me to Hell” and the “Spiderman” movies, is producing a new exorcism film set to open this summer. “The Possession,” which will open Aug. 31, tells the true story of a family whose daughter is taken over by a dybbuk. Sounds creepy. Possibly the weirdest part: Matisyahu plays a minor role.

LMFAO member’s Israeli flirtation

The big-haired, zebra-striped-pants-wearing RedFoo of the duo LMFAO had a great time at the Cannes Film Festival parties. RedFoo was seen party rockin’ with Israeli model/actress Tal Berkovich. The two spent time together and later began a flirtatious conversation on Twitter.
