Aaron Sorkin is going to be the mind behind the new biographic film about Apple’s Steve Jobs.
Sorkin, who wrote “The Social Network” said at the AllThingsD Conference in California that he prefers writing heroic characters, with Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg being the only antihero he has ever written for. However he is still observing Jobs’ life and he he will be portrayed. “He’s a complicated guy,” Sorkin says. “Zuckerberg was, as well. But when I’m writing this movie, I can’t judge this character. He has to be, for me, a hero.”
Sorkin adds, that writing about Jobs is “a little like writing about The Beatles, there are so many people out there that know him and revere him.”
Another thing Sorking still has to think about is who will be play Jobs. “I don’t know,“ Sorkin says, “but it’s going to have be a very good actor.”
