JERUSALEM JTA) — Knesset campaign ads are now running nightly as Israel’s Jan. 22 elections near.
The ads are being aired as an hourlong block on each of Israel’s three major television channels, as well as on Israel Radio and Army Radio, and may not run on TV or radio at any other time. It is the first time that the ads are being run on Army Radio.
Each party receives airtime based on the number of seats they have in the current Knesset. The Kadima Party and the joint Likud-Beiteinu list will receive the most time.
