(JTA) — University of Illinois basketball and football fans will have kosher hot dogs on the menu at home games.
The Illini Chabad will offer the hot dogs at the State Farm Center in partnership with Illinois Athletics.
They will be sold at weekday men’s basketball games and some women’s games, the Daily Illini student newspaper reported. The kosher grub will be available as well at next month’s football game against Wisconsin.
The food will be sold at a separate kosher stand. Other kosher foods could be added to the menu, according to the report.
