(JTA) — A suspect was arrested in the painting of “Jew” on at least a dozen cars in a Paris neighborhood.
The man was taken into police custody Monday night after the graffiti, done in white paint and capital letters, was discovered in the 16th arrondissement, or district, according to reports. A sizable Jewish population lives in the district.
It is not known if the owners of the cars are Jewish.
