(JTA) — A married Israeli couple was shot dead in the West Bank in a suspected Palestinian terror attack.

At least two shooters were involved in the drive-by shooting on the couple’s car near the Itamar settlement, according to reports. Four of the couple’s six children also were in the car but were uninjured.

The couple was identified as Eitam and Na’ama Henkin, in their thirties. They are the son and daughter-in-law of Chana and Yehuda Henkin, a U.S. born couple who in 1990 founded Nishmat, a institute for advanced Torah study for women in Jerusalem.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the two deaths, according to Ynet. Earlier reports had described the victims as alive but in critical and serious condition.

The IDF is investigating and looking for suspects.
