More than 100 Bedouins are reported killed at Khan-Yunis near Gaza, when 50 Bedouins of the Kavitas tribe armed with guns attacked a caravan with the intent of robbery. A bitter battle ensued and British gendarmes were summoned. One of the gendarmes was killed and another wounded in attempting to put down the fighting.
The attacking Bedouins are said to have gotten away with more than 500 camels belonging to the Sardia caravan.
