Sixteen youthful Zionists were arrested here yesterday following a renewal of the anti-British demonstrations in front of the offices of the British embassy and consulate. The demonstrations were a protest against the new British policy in Palestine.
The British embassy addressed itself to the Polish authorities for protection from further demonstrations. The Polish government has permitted the Jews to organize a huge protest meeting against England on condition that no street demonstrations should follow this meeting, which will be held Saturday night.
