A group of Chicago Jewish leaders yesterday launched a campaign for $2,000,000 to be used for relief of European Jewry. The group met under the chairmanship of Max Epstein, head of the general American Transportation corporation. Albert D. Lasker, retired advertising executive and wartime head of the United States Shipping board, was the principal speaker. A larger meeting was planned for a later date.
