During the year 1924-1925, not less than 25 new Jewish colonies, each consisting of 150 families, will be established in the districts of Ekaterinoslav, Kherson and Odessa, according to the statement of Mr. Sudarsky, Vice-President of the Central Council of the National Minorities in Ukrainia.
Only the inhabitants of the districts of Kieff, Podol, Tchernigoff and Poltava will be settled in the new colonies. The inhabitants of the other regions will have to await the next distribution of land.
A strip of 6,000 desiatin has been allotted in the district of Mozir for the organization of a number of smaller Jewish settlements.
