A check for $30,000 which was contributed by 10,000 enlisted men and officers who served in Germany under the late Maj. Gen. Maurice Rose, who was murdered by the Nazis, will be presented next Tuesday to the fund which is being raised to erect a memorial hospital to Gen. Rose in Denver. The presentation will be made at a luncheon in the Waldorf-Asteria by Col. John A. Smith, who will be flown to New York as a personal emissary of Gen. Eisenhower.
