Approximately $32,000 of funds raised in America by the Federation of Polish Jews has been distributed by a committee of Jewish leaders here, it was announced today.
Distribution of the money was made as follows: artisans, $4,000; small tradesmen, $4,000; workers’ organizations, $6,000; vocational training centers, $3,000; health centers, $3,000; needy rabbis and religious teachers, $3,000; needy journalists and writers, $3,000; Jewish cooperatives and loan banks, $4,000, and Passover relief, $2,000.
The distributing committee includes Chief Rabbi Moses Schorr, former Senator Szereszowski, Deputy Rabbi Isaac Rubinstein, Deputy Dr. Emil Sommerstein, and Dr. Henrik Rosmarin.
