A three-day celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Hedera colony opened yesterday afternoon with a procession to the cemetery and a memorial service for the founders. The Palestine Broadcasting Service held a broadcast from the colony. A formal reception for Jewish leaders, Government officials and others was held last night.
