A commission of historians appointed by the French minister of education is starting its deliberations on the influence of Holocaust deniers at a French university. The commission, presided over by a historian of Vichy France, Henry Rousso, will investigate what has been described as a tradition of Holocaust revisionism by scholars at the University of Lyon-III that stretches back two decades.
