A former Syrian intelligence officer says Syria has photos and information about Israel’s nuclear reactor. Yusef Abed al-Jalil told Israel’s Ha’aretz newspaper that Syria obtained the intelligence about the Dimona reactor from Israeli Arab agents. Al-Jalil defected to Israel in 1994, but Israeli intelligence officials were convinced he was a spy and not a true defector. He remained in Israeli jails for 10 years, and was released to Germany in January.
