A group of Jews protesting a divestment conference at the University of Michigan say they were confronted by about 75 people who shouted anti-Semitic slurs at them. The handful of protesters, led by Michigan Student Zionists and the New York-based Coalition for Jewish Concerns-Amcha, claim they were surrounded Saturday evening by activists shouting “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea,” and, in Arabic, “Death to the Jews.”
