A Jewish deli in New Jersey is sending salamis to U.S. troops in Iraq. Operation Salami Drop is being run by Marc and Michael Brummer, co-owners of the Newark-based Hobby’s Deli. The Brummers plan to send 23,000 salamis, one for each soldier in the 42nd infantry division posted to Tikrit, Iraq.
