A New York synagogue has donated thousands of dollars in Passover food stamps for Israeli soldiers. Due to increased poverty in Israel, the Israel Defense Force is providing food stamps to needy soldiers. The Hampton Synagogue on Long Island is giving the IDF $36,000 toward food stamps for Passover. Rabbi Marc Schneier announced the donation at a recent concert featuring the IDF orchestra.
