A program of leadership training and research in ##e field of inter-group and inter-cultural education will be launched in the fall this year by Columbia University’s Teacher College, which has been granted 25,000 for this purpose by the National Conference of Christians and Jews.
Dr. Hollis L. Caswell, associate dean of Teachers College, said that the main ###eds are improved understanding of inter-group relations for all educational workers; the preparation of competently trained leaders for schools, colleges, church, industry, labor and community agencies, and the expansion of research and experimentation on inter-group problems on a professional basis. Teachers College will concentrate on the leadership and research aspects.
