A U.S. Muslim group is calling for a worldwide boycott of Burger King because a franchise of the fast-food chain recently opened at a Jewish settlement in the West Bank. “Our community views Burger King’s decision to become a party to illegal occupation with profound distaste,” the executive director of American Muslims for Jerusalem said Thursday. A spokesman for Burger King later said the company takes “the issue very seriously and will try to resolve it.”
