The sum of $250,000 was cabled yesterday to Palestine by the Jewish National Fund here as a Rosh Hashanah gift for land purchases by the Jewish National Fund in Jerusalem, it was announced here today by Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the JNF of America.
“This remittance represents a token of our determination to stand by the Yishuv in its heroic struggle for Victory of the United Nations and the triumph of the Zionist ideal for a free Eretz Israel,” he says the message which accompanied the remittance.
