American officials knew where alleged terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden was until hours before they launched air strikes last week in Afghanistan, according to Israeli officials. But sources said the exiled Saudi millionaire then disconnected his mobile phone, which U.S. agents had used to track his movements.
