Jewish military chaplains with the United States Army and the U.S. Air Force in Europe will convene near here, at Berchtesgaden, tomorrow, for a retreat sponsored by the Armed Forces Chaplains Board of the Army, at the mountain estate of the late Adolf Hitler.
Rabbi Israel Miller, chairman of the National Jewish Welfare Board’s Commission on Jewish Chaplaincy, will lead the retreat. Rabbi Miller is spiritual leader of the Kingsbridge Heights Jewish Center in The Bronx.
