An Army spokesman said Thursday that there was absolutely no truth to a report by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) that Israel carried out military maneuvers using live ammunition on Lebanese soil Monday and Tuesday. According to a UNIFIL spokesman, Israeli troops were involved in the exercise in the Yarin and Marwahin areas of Lebanon, about a mile from the Israeli border.
