An Australian court charged an Israeli man with smuggling some 250 pounds of drugs into the country. Police alleged that Benjamin Rosenfeld was hiding the drug MDMA — a main component of ecstasy — in solar heater containers. The amount of MDMA found — some $37 million worth — was enough to produce 1.2 million ecstasy tablets. Rosenfeld, 46, was arrested during a police raid late last week in New South Wales. He was denied bail by the court, which set a July trial date.
